ART

For the past three years, art class has been collaboratively run by Sheila McMahon and resident artist Heather Zemien. 

Heather comes to us as a community artist whose training is in graphic design and whose passion is in the fine arts.

Heather considers herself an "Art Esteemist," and her mission statement is:  To help others achieve self esteem through art.  She has taught people from 4 through 104 years to tap into their inner creativity. 

We make an effort to not only meet the state standards, but also design our projects to be theraputic, hoping to establish another tool for students to use in their quest for lifelong sobriety.
